Festas da Quinta em Honra de S. João e S. Bento 2026 – Cernache do Bonjardim (Sertã)

This traditional three-day community festival takes place from June 19th to June 21st, 2026, in the locality of Quinta, Cernache do Bonjardim. The event features a continuous food and drink service specializing in grilled chicken and pork sandwiches, alongside a dedicated bar serving spirits and a charity bazaar.

The scheduled program includes:

• Friday, June 19: The festival opens at 09:00 with the illumination setup by DS Iluminações, followed by the bar opening at 11:00 and the charity bazaar at 18:00. The evening entertainment features a live concert by Banda NCK at 23:00 and dance music with DJ Hugo Rafael starting at 03:00.

• Saturday, June 20: The venue opens at 10:00, followed by a traditional chinquilho tournament at 15:00. The bazaar reopens at 17:00. Nightly entertainment kicks off at 21:00 with organist Miguel Agostinho, leading into the main concert by Augusto Canário & Amigos at midnight. The night wraps up with a dance set by DJ T-AGO starting at 03:00.

• Sunday, June 21: The final day begins at 10:00 with the gathering of traditional sweetbread offerings. A religious Mass and solemn procession take place at 15:30, followed by the fogaças auction at 17:00. Evening cultural performances feature the Rancho Folclórico Clube Bonjardim at 21:00 and Grupo Inovação at 22:00. The festivities officially close at midnight with the raffle draw.
