Festas de São João de Vil do Souto – Vil do Souto

This traditional community festival celebrates Saint John in the parish of Vil do Souto, located in the Viseu municipality. The three-day entertainment program highlights evening musical concerts by Alpha Music and Banda Design over Friday and Saturday. Sunday features a packed daytime schedule including a Super Jump children’s activity area, a performance by the musical group Os Canelenses, a showcase by the student tuna group Alcatuna, and live music from keyboardist André Simões. The weekend festivities conclude on Sunday evening with a traditional community sardine dinner.
