Festas em Honra de Nossa Senhora do Carmo – Moura

Celebrate five days of rich cultural traditions and top-tier live entertainment in the historic town of Moura. The festival boasts a stellar musical lineup featuring prominent Portuguese artists like Miguel Araújo and fadista Sara Correia. The schedule includes performances by Classe Operária, Banda Pagodinho, Banda da PSP (performing at the Moura Castle), Xeques Orquestra, KX Connections, Matilde Jacob, Sara Santini, and the nostalgic multi-media production “We Are the 90’s Show.” Deeply rooted regional traditions are strongly represented by the Grupo Coral de Moura. Moving religious highlights feature a procession to the Bairro da Mouraria on Thursday evening and a grand solemn festival procession (Solene Procissão da Festa) on Sunday afternoon, followed by a spectacular Saturday midnight fireworks display at Praça Sacadura Cabral.
