Festividades em Honra do SS.mo Sacramento – Gião

The Festividades em Honra do Santíssimo Sacramento will take place in Gião, Vila do Conde, spread across multiple dates in July 2026. The program starts on Wednesday, July 15th with the opening of bars and inauguration of the lights, followed by a “Noite Branca” featuring DJ Pires and DJ Filipe on Friday, July 17th. On Saturday, July 18th, local streets will host the Bombos de Gião in the morning and a performance by Duo Sétima Vaga at night. Celebrations resume on Friday, July 24th with a concert by Zé Amaro and a grand fireworks display by Pirotecnia do Douro. The event concludes on Sunday, July 26th with a full day of traditional religious ceremonies, including a first communion eucharist, an afternoon majestic procession incorporating the Banda de Música de Felgueiras and the Fanfarra dos Bombeiros Voluntários de Moreira da Maia, and a final great display of fireworks.
