Festejos em Honra do Mártir S. Sebastião – Abrunheira

Enjoy four days of lively summer celebrations honoring the martyr Saint Sebastian, featuring a star-studded musical lineup and traditional community dining. The event kicks off on Friday with a charity bazaar and a dance performance by Orquestra Magma. Saturday features a traditional Almoço Serrabulho, followed by evening entertainment from Banda Magnética. Sunday highlights include the arrival and traditional street parade by Banda Filarmónica da Aldeia Grande, a solemn mass and procession, and a dance featuring Banda Raska. The festival wraps up on Monday with a closing party featuring the spectacular group Função Públika. Throughout the entire weekend, a full bar and restaurant service will be available serving regional favorites like grilled chicken, roasted cod, snails, bifanas, homemade bread, and local wine.
