Festas Mártir São Sebastião – Vilarinho de Cima

This traditional community festival honors the Martyr Saint Sebastian in Vilarinho de Cima, located in the parish of Gandra within the Paredes municipality. The three-day event features religious ceremonies, including a solemn mass, a majestic procession, a drumming group performance by Zés Preiras de São Miguel de Gandra, and a musical set by the São Martinho – Campo Music Band. The extensive entertainment program includes dance showcases by Studio Beatriz Fontes, Tchiki-Bom, and Zumba La Dance, along with a traditional folklore performance by Rancho Folclórico de Gandra. Evening live music highlights concert sets from Norte FM, Capitolina Ambrioleta and her dancers, and the band DNA, concluding with a grand fireworks display.
