Festas em Honra de Santo António da Terrugem – Terrugem

A four-day traditional summer festival featuring a highly packed program of regional bull runs, live comedy, and multiple musical stages divided into a popular stage and a main stage. Daily activities include morning firecracker awakenings, street parades with the Charanga das Fresquinhas, a bazaar, and a local betting game. The schedule heavily highlights traditional heifer releases in the local style with livestock from Ganadaria Irmãos Serpa, a formal bullfight, and a unique Monday heifer release where a calf is raffled off. Entertainment includes stand-up comedy by João Caçoilas, a midnight fireworks show on Sunday, and dynamic nightly musical acts including Roncas de Elvas, Banda Karisma, Vem Pó Baile, DJ Cuba, Voz Amiga, Corda Bamba, Vira Milho, Baila Maria, Banda Novo Ritmo, DJ Dinga, Alentejanices, Banda DFB, and DJ Zézé.
