A major week-long municipal festival featuring a book fair, a culinary exhibition dedicated to lamb, and a star-studded musical lineup split across venues like the Anfiteatro AMCP, Queiriga, and Largo do Ramalhal. The festival opens on Monday with regional theatre by Teatro Regional da Serra do Montemuro. The rest of the week features a dedicated Fado night, Berg with the local progressive musical band, and an Emigrant Day celebration with a samba school and Zé Amaro. The weekend brings high-profile pop and popular music, including performances by Mónica Sinta, Tony Carreira, Insert Coin, Fátima Fonseca, and Anjos, alongside a youth “Game Day” on Sunday afternoon.
