Festa em Honra da Nossa Senhora do Carmo – Vilar do Torno e Alentém

The event kicks off on Thursday with a massive street drumming parade (Arruada de Bombos) featuring over 25 groups. The star-studded musical entertainment includes performances by Banda Vatikano on Friday, pop artist Ruth Marlene on Saturday, and a traditional performance by the Grupo Folclórico de Santa Cruz Vila Meã e Senhora Aparecida do Rancho on Sunday afternoon. Night owls can dance into the early hours at the dedicated DJ plaza (Praça dos DJs) featuring sets from DJ Martins, DJ Jonh Diaz, and Miguel Teixeira. Cultural and religious highlights include traditional daily mortar-salute awakenings (alvoradas), spectacular nightly fireworks displays, a local parish parade (Cortejo da Freguesia), a fanfarre performance by the Firefighters of Tirso (Bombeiros Tirsense), solemn masses, and a grand religious procession on Sunday evening.
