Festas Populares 2026 – Espinheiro

A dynamic three-day community festival packed with traditional sports, motorized events, and diverse entertainment. Friday kicks off with an opening barrel ceremony, musical newcomer Daniel Alves, stand-up comedy with João Caçoilas, a dance, and a late-night set by DJ Bruno Pires. Saturday features a Malha tournament, live entertainment from André Mira, a dance with João Machorrinho, and music from DJ Cyer Gi. Sunday highlights include the 2nd Classic Motorcycle and Moped Meeting with a regional tour and helmet blessing, followed by a animal blessing, a religious procession, a street parade with Kalipolemusic, and a traditional garraiada heifer release with prizes for the bravest participants. The weekend concludes with performances by Alentejo na Voz and Nicole Viviana.
