A major 10-day summer celebration honoring the patron saint of fishermen, held at Largo das Ribas and Praia dos Pescadores. The packed entertainment schedule includes daily concerts, traditional dances, and unique maritime events. Musical highlights feature Romana, The Peakles (The Beatles Experience), Los Romeros, Duque Província, Bandidos do Cante, a dedicated Fado night (Noite de Fados), and multiple nightly DJs and dance bands. Key traditional events include a sand and salt carpet creation (tapete de areia e sal) on Thursday the 13th, swimming competitions and the iconic sea procession (procissão no mar) with fireworks on Saturday the 15th, and a morning street parade followed by a solemn street procession on Sunday the 16th.
