Tradicional Festa do Pé Descalço – Asseiceira

A four-day traditional summer festival featuring daily restaurant service, sweet fritters, and a bazaar run by the local church fabric. Saturday opens with dinner followed by music from Nelson Lord’s and late-night beats from DJ Ivo Simões. Sunday features afternoon entertainment, a field Mass and procession in honor of St. Dominic, and an evening performance by the band DFB. Monday features a concert by the band Enigma. Tuesday marks the “Day of the Barefoot” (Dia do Pé Descalço), kicking off with a traditional barefoot feijoada bean stew lunch, followed by evening music from Bico d’Obra and a closing set by DJs Kristof & Rex.
