Festas em Honra de Nossa Sra. das Neves – Vaiamonte

A three-day community summer festival organized to benefit the local Centro Social Santo António. Friday features an accordion performance by the local music school, a dance with Ricardo Santos, a disco set by Miguel Morais, and a late-night bull release (largada de touros). Saturday includes a dance with David Melão, a concert by José Alberto Reis, followed by Gazaboys, another bull release, and Funk2You. Sunday starts with a traditional banner collection parade with the Banda da Sociedade Recreativa e Musical de Póvoa e Meadas and a solemn Mass and procession. The evening wraps up with a performance by “Os d’Aldeia”, a dance with Jorge Gomes, a children’s foam party/disco night with Sofia Polquinhas, and a final bull release. Bar, restaurant, and market stalls open nightly from 19:00.
