Festa em Honra de Nossa Senhora da Ribeira – Covais

This traditional religious festival honors Our Lady of the Ribeira and spans two days, May 9 and 10, 2026. The celebration combines community socializing with religious devotion, featuring a communal meal of spit-roasted pork on Saturday followed by a karaoke party. Sunday is dedicated to more formal traditions, including a 21-gun salute, a pilgrimage from the Church of Pinheiro da Bemposta to the local chapel, and live musical performances by Banda Tema and Irmãos Coragem to close the festivities.
